Here's a preview of the final issue of the "Truth and Consequences" arc of the Incredibles. It's basically 22 pages of a giant monkey beating up a giant robot. The book will be out in stores this Wednesday.

Chad Nevett at CBR reviews the newest issue of The Incredibles: "The Incredibles" is, quite simply, one of the best superhero books on the stands. Is it a cliché and a little lazy to say that sort of thing? Perhaps, but it doesn’t make it any less true. CBR has a preview of this Wednesday's (September 29th?) issue of The Incredibles. Here's my favorite page: I like writing pages where people get kicked in the face.

Here's a Youtube video comparing The Incredibles #8 to terrorist and Nazi propaganda. Ends with promise of book burning. I can't help but find this paranoid and delusional examination of my work both horrifying and amusing.

Collecting issues 8-11 and apparently available right now. Written by me with art by Marcio Takara. Mrs. Incredible faces an unwelcome figure from her past plotting to destroy all of Europe ; what’s worse, they share a secret history she doesn’t want Mr. Incredible finding out! Will the mysterious Mirage keep her secret, and can she be trusted to watch Mrs. Incredible’s back? Meanwhile, Mr. Incredible and Frozone take it upon themselves to train Dash, and Violet makes a mistake that may have unexpected consequences for the Parr family. Preview available here .

New issue of the Incredibles - in store the 4th. Here's a preview : This issue kicks off a new arc. It's also the arc where the long promised Unforgiveables storyline starts ramping up. And for the record, that's ice that Mr. Incredible is struggling to lift.

This issue marks the end of the current arc, and paves the road for the next 8 issues. Tomorrow I will post some convention highlights.

I'm told issue #7 of the Incredibles is in stores now. Here's a preview : I hope you didn't think we has seen the last of Mesmerella.

There's a preview available for the next issue of the Incredibles, which sources indicate will hit shelves in just a couple of days. that seems quite soon after the last issue. Anyway... this issue has art by Ramanda Karmarga and looks totally awesome. For the most part, I don't see what these books look like until the public does. Very different in that regard from working withe Eric, whose art table is a few feet from my desk. Regardless, I'm quite happy with what I see here.

The second issue of The Incredibles is available  of today. It's written by me and Mark Waid, and illustrated by Marcio Takara. I'm crazy behind schedule or I would say more. Like I might talk about the reviews for the latest issue of Batman: The Brave and the Bold , and Like how the wedding and honeymoon went (they were awesome), or about my upcoming projects that are probably top secret or about how I plan on being drunk and wandering the streets of El Cerrito tonight.  Good times. Here's a link . To be honest, most of what is in that link is a lie. The description of the story does not match anything in the book and the cover does not represent the issue at all. The website also fails to credit me. All of these things can likely be traced back to one issue. Solicitations for comics are due well in advance of release. That copy was written before I was brought on the book and that cover was commissioned also before I was on the book. So there you go.
